Nationally Recognised Qualifications
The Kent Motorcycle Technology Centre is an IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) accredited training centre, which means it offers nationally recognised motorcycle maintenance and repair courses to young people and to adults, all passionate about bikes.
IMI
The IMI is the Sector Skills Council for the automotive retail industry, part of the Skills for Business network. The IMI is also the professional association for individuals working in the retail motor industry and the governing body for the ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) scheme.

Course Information
The following courses are expected to run from September 2009. Click on the links below for more information including costs:
- IMIAL Entry Level Diploma
- IMIAL Level 1 Diploma
- IMIAL Level 2 Diploma
- Apprenticeship Level 2
- Motorcycle Maintenance and Repair Evening Courses
Students can apply for day or evening courses depending on their age, wishes and personal commitments.

For 2010/11, we currently intend to run all 5 courses described above from September 2010 and recommend that you make an application (see how to apply) as soon as possible.
N.B. Our course offering is always under review as we intend to expand or take advantage of new courses being made available by awarding bodies.
